Encouraging the Improvement of Student Quality and Professionalism, Agribusiness Study Program Adds Six Competency Assessor Candidates

The Professional Certification Institute (LSP) UMM organizes competency assessor training in collaboration with the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), as a form of accountability for the commitment of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) in providing the best service for students. Monday (13/12/2021).

The training was held for five days in the GKB 4 Hall on the ninth floor of UMM and was carried out face-to-face with strict health protocols, as a form of preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. In his opening remarks, UMM Deputy Chancellor III Dr. Nur Subeki, ST., MT said that the assessor training held this time was useful to support UMM Pasti Bisa, so UMM encouraged a Center of Excellent (CoE) by producing more schemes. LSP competence is expected to have an impact on student independence. Prof. Dr. Ihyaul Ulum, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA. as chairman of the LSP confirmed that the competency assessor training is expected to produce thirty-one new schemes and with the direction of the Rector I that each Study Program must prepare at least five new schemes that lead to (CoE).

“This activity is certainly quite good and the study program really appreciates it as a form of commitment to increasing the capacity of human resources in the Agribusiness Study Program, with the addition of six prospective competency assessors, it is hoped that the acceleration of the Agribusiness Study Program in increasing the competence of graduates in various fields and can meet the challenges of the industrial era 4.0” said Ary Bakhtiar, Head of the Bachelor of Agribusiness.
