Malang, March 1 2024 - The Agribusiness Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) once again demonstrates its commitment to improving the quality of research and academic guidance by organizing a workshop on research ethical clearance. This activity aims to provide in-depth understanding to lecturers regarding research ethics and the importance of adhering to applicable regulations in research.This workshop invites a professional in the field, Dr. Husamah, M.Pd., as the speaker.
Held in a grand manner at the Grand Mercure Mirama Malang hotel. Several Agribusiness Lecturers as participants in the workshop admitted to gaining a very comprehensive understanding of the material on ethical clearance, including important aspects such as the protection of research subjects, conflicts of interest, and research permit procedures.
The Head of the Agribusiness Study Program at UMM, Ary Bakhtiar, stated that in facing the complex challenges in the field of research in the current era, it is important for us to have a strong understanding of research ethics and our obligations as researchers. This workshop is our effort to enhance the professional competence of lecturers in conducting quality research and providing exceptional academic guidance to students.
One of the objectives of this activity is to create an academic environment that supports the development of high-quality research and quality academic mentoring for UMM students, particularly in the Agribusiness study program.
