Tracer Study 2023

Tracer study is an initiative program of the Career Development Center (CDC) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) designed to map the career trajectory of alumni while strengthening the relationship between the alma mater and its graduates. Through an integrated digital-based system, the program not only aims to collect up-to-date data on alumni profiles, career development, and contributions in society, but also builds an interactive platform to facilitate collaboration, information exchange, and professional development opportunities. The online system allows alumni to fill out tracer study questionnaires periodically, report career achievements, and access job matching services, training, or webinars organized by UMM.

On the other hand, the data collected becomes strategic evaluation material for the university to improve curriculum quality, align study programs with industry needs, and optimize career support services for active students. In addition, this program also acts as a bridge between alumni, creating a solid community through networking, mentorship, and sharing job opportunities. Thus, UMM's tracer study is not only administrative, but also part of the university's commitment in supporting the sustainability of alumni self-development and strengthening an educational ecosystem that is responsive to global market dynamics.
